Dresses & Dreams has been part of our community for more than five decades. My own story here began at just 15 years old, when I walked through the doors determined to get a job at the store I already loved. I kept asking until they finally gave me a chance—and I never really left.

I worked at Dresses & Dreams throughout high school and college, learning the formalwear industry from the inside out and discovering how much I loved being part of these once-in-a-lifetime moments. On January 1, 2012, at age 25, I had the privilege of purchasing the store and carrying its legacy into the next generation.

Decades later, one thing hasn’t changed: people come first, dresses second.

We believe finding the dress should be every bit as memorable as the event you’re wearing it to.

Our store is filled with incredible gowns, but what truly sets Dresses & Dreams apart is what happens after you walk through the door. We take the time to get to know you, understand what makes you feel beautiful, and help create a look that feels completely your own.

Sometimes that’s finding the perfect dress exactly as it was designed. Other times, we’re changing details, combining elements, or completely reimagining a gown to create something no one else will have.

Because no two girls are the same—and their dress shouldn’t have to be either.

For us, the best part has never been simply selling a beautiful gown. It’s watching a girl stand a little taller when she sees herself differently in the mirror. It’s the moms, grandmothers, sisters, and friends celebrating alongside her. It’s customers who walked through our doors as teenagers returning years later with another generation.

Those relationships are the heart of Dresses & Dreams.
